Siliguri: Salesian College (Autonomous), Siliguri, in collaboration with the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia, hosted a luncheon meeting that brought together UB Trustees, staff, consultants, and college management and faculty, 10th June 2026.
The fellowship lunch provided an opportunity for informal interaction before the business session began. UB Fellow Mr. Peter Lepcha offered words of introduction, followed by an invocation from Fr. Dr. Saju Puthussery, Vice Principal of Arts & Humanities and Social Sciences. A warm welcome was extended by Rector Fr. Dr. Tomy Augustine.
The programme featured a video presentation “SCSC at a Glance” by Mr. Anirban Roy, highlighting academic and community engagement. Ms. Anupriya and Mr. John Gaurav demonstrated digital innovations through the updated ERP system. Sustainability initiatives were presented by Dr. Prajwal Chettri, Dean of Sciences, who outlined the Green Campus Project.
Dr. Pareena G. Lawrence, representing the United Board, commended Salesian College’s commitment to collaborative growth and holistic education. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Ranita Chakrabortty, followed by a photo session in front of DB Block. END
